Hindi interpreting and translation in Scotland

Hindi interpreting and translation across Scotland for appointments, meetings and documents.

About Hindi

Hindi is spoken by millions of people across India and by communities in Scotland, in business, in healthcare and in education. It is written in the Devanagari script, which reads left to right.

Hindi and Urdu share much of their everyday speech, but they are different written languages. If a document or a person is Hindi, we work in Hindi, and we will say so plainly if a request looks like it is really Urdu.

Booking tips for Hindi

  • Tell us whether the document should be in Devanagari script, or whether a Roman-letter version is acceptable.
  • Send names and addresses in advance so they are spelled the way the person spells them.
  • For business meetings, a short agenda helps the interpreter prepare technical terms.

Questions

Hindi: common questions

Do you provide Hindi interpreters for business meetings?

Yes. As well as public-service appointments, we interpret for private organisations, including meetings and negotiations. A short briefing in advance helps us prepare.

Can you translate Hindi documents into English?

Yes. We translate in both directions. Tell us what the document is for and who will read it.

Ready when you are

Tell us what you need, and when.

A short call or message is usually enough for us to say what we can arrange and what it will cost.
