Accessibility statement

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Text is high contrast and resizes without breaking the layout.
  • Everything can be used from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Pashto, Dari, Urdu and Hindi text is marked with the correct language and reading direction.
  • Animation is turned off for people who ask their device to reduce motion.
  • The forms have labels, clear errors and work with or without JavaScript.

Known limits

We test with automated tools and by keyboard, but we have not yet had the site audited by a third party. If you find something that does not work for you, please tell us.
